Patterns and Accidents

1.
Fear 04:20
Fear You cannot believe his lies You cannot accept his words in ribbons Served with undulated smiles Enwrapping you in sighs You immerse in blurry outlines Demarcate your steps and commitments Get lost in variegated lines You find yourself perplexed and entwined A foreboding of a mute storm that’s where you placed all your stakes on your future and past pushed away in a cart Staying awake at night wondering in silence whether you would once depart without goodbye slip away in style Then one day you find yourself alone in the same surroundings same clothes and very same thoughts and everything seems bright and blinding and bold but fear is always present a lurking cloud in the sky a gravel inside your worn out shoes
2.
You called me tonight disgruntled and distraught you always demand my attention on the spot You drive me crazy and extort compassion and warmth Roasted and flushed, I get squeezed like a pimple I do my best when you corner and crush me You get the most out of me You called me again tonight your voice crackled through the phone I wish I couldn't hear what you intended to report You cut me in two and ridicule You steamroll me and squash but I ask for more and more
